Standing with is different from standing in Israel said Netanyahu to Sunak
Prime Minister of United Kingdom visited Israel today and met with the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and also gave their official statement on the meet.
What did Netanyahu say?
Prime Minister of Israeli thanked Rishi Sunak for his visit at this point when the country is at war. Netanyahu thanked UK for standing in solidarity with Israel and supporting the country. The Israeli PM stressed on the in-person visit by Sunak by saying that there is a difference between standing with solidarity and actually standing in Israel.
Biden and Netanyahu
This statement by the Israeli PM has a very serious implication. It implies that not every country and the leader of that country would have the courage to actually step in a country where thousands have lost their lives and the country is at war.
Netanyahu also mentioned the support shown by The USA and Germany by carrying out official visit to Israel. He mentioned the remarks of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about calling Hamas as "New Nazi".

He also mentioned the remarks made by President Joe Biden when he called Hamas as the new ISIS. Netanyahu agrees with the president and the Chancellor on their remarks about Hamas.
He further added Israel is fighting Nazi same as USA fought ISIS and how European countries fought the Nazis. The world needs to come together this time again to fight the evil Hamas with Hamas.
The PM also said that it is not just the battle of Israel but rather it the battle of the modern Arab countries, battle of western world, battle for a free world and battle for a secure future. Hamas supported by Iran stands on one side which wants to push the middle east to the middle ages. On the other side stands peace loving countries which want a peaceful and secure feature for Middle east.
Commenting on the acts of Hamas, the PM said that Hamas have held hostages which includes women, children, holocaust survivors and even foreigners. The PM ended his statement by saying that it is the darkest hour for Israel and Israel must and Israel win war. The people of Israel at more united now then they ever were.
What did Rishi Sunak say?
PM Rishi Sunak also gave his remarks in which he said that he is thankful to the Israeli PM for welcoming him. He further added " I am sorry to be here in the worst circumstances." He shared his deep condolences on the behalf of the people of United Kingdom.
Sunak reaffirmed the support of United Kingdom for Israel to have the right to defend itself in absolute terms. UK supports Israel in its right to defend itself and in its fight against terror group Hamas in line with International laws. UK supports Israel in its efforts to free hostages held by Hamas and strengthen national security for long term.
Rishi Sunak also acknowledged the efforts by the Israeli government to provide assistance to British nationals and taking necessary steps in protecting British nationals who were caught in the war.
Apart from this, the British PM also expressed his grief against the deaths of hundreds in the blast of Gaza hospital and that UK also mourns the death of every single individual who lost their lives in the blast.
Humanitarian Aid
UK also welcomes the decision of Israel to let the Humanitarian aid pass through the border from Egypt to Gaza so that it can reach civilians. United Kingdom will also increase the humanitarian aid.
Rishi Sunak ended his remarks by saying "As you said it is Israel's darkest hour, I am proud to say hat I am standing with you at this darkest hour as your friend. " He further said that UK stands with Israel in Solidarity and with the people of Israel and that UK wants Israel to win the battle.
