Mahakumbh 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Paush Purnima in Prayagraj today, Mahakumbh 2025 started with the 'Shahi Snan'. This Mahakumbh will now run till 26 February. During this, all kinds of arrangements have been made here for the devotees. RAF, Police and CRPF teams are present on the spot to ensure the safety of the devotees. CM Yogi said, 'Congratulations on Paush Purnima. The world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering 'Mahakumbh' is starting from today in Teerthraj Prayagraj. To experience unity in diversity, all the revered saints, Kalpvasis, devotees who have come for meditation and holy bath at the confluence of faith and modernity are heartily welcome.'
The Chief Minister further wrote in his social media post, 'May Maa Ganga fulfill all your wishes. Auspicious wishes for the commencement of Maha Kumbh Prayagraj and the first bath.
