The stock market's upward trend continues, with the Sensex and Nifty opening in the green zone for the fifth consecutive trading day on Wednesday. With the opening, the Bombay Stock Exchange's 30-share Sensex rose more than 300 points to cross 82,200. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty also opened higher than its previous close. Shares of the Tata Group's Titan company rocketed in early trading, while stocks ranging from TCS, Infosys, and HCL Tech also saw impressive gains.

Sensex crosses 82,200
As the stock market began trading in the green zone, the BSE Sensex opened at 81,899.51 and soon surged over 300 points to trade at 82,257.74. The NSE Nifty followed suit. The 50-share index opened slightly lower at 25,079.75 compared to its previous close and then, in tandem with the Sensex, climbed to 25,192.50.
1,307 stocks made a strong debut
Amid a bullish market, stocks of approximately 1,307 companies opened trading higher on Wednesday compared to their previous close. Furthermore, shares of 1,073 companies in the market opened with declines in the red zone. Meanwhile, the shares of approximately 140 companies remained unchanged. In early trading, Titan Company, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, and Max Healthcare led the list of top gainers.

Yesterday's Strong Rise
Earlier, on Tuesday, the stock market also saw a strong rally, but the momentum slowed somewhat by market close. However, both indices closed in the green zone. The Sensex, after gaining over 400 points during trading, finally closed at 81,926.75, up 136.63 points. The Nifty closed at 25,108.30, up just 30 points.
Titan's surge, these stocks are also amazing
Looking at the top-10 list of fastest-growing stocks, Tata Group company Titan topped the list, gaining 4.20% to trade at ₹3559.80. Other large-cap stocks followed, including Infosys (2.50%), Tech Mahindra (2.10%), TCS (2.10%), and HCL Tech Share (1.60%).
Summary
Among the mid-cap stocks, Escorts Share (4.68%), Relaxo Share (2.84%), and Tata Elxsi (2.70%) were trading with gains. Among small-cap companies, ITI Share saw the fastest rise, gaining over 11%.
