Sydney Shooting: The famous Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, was rocked by gunfire on Sunday as members of the Jewish community were attending a Hanukkah (Chanukkah) celebration. The sudden gunfire, which erupted amidst thousands of people on the beach, sent the entire area into a state of panic.

It is unclear whether the attack was a terrorist attack or carried out for some other reason.

According to initial media reports, at least 10 people have been confirmed dead in the mass shooting, while several others are seriously injured. Police have arrested two of the shooters.

A shocking video has surfaced of the shooting during the Hanukkah event, revealing a horrific picture of the entire incident. The video is rapidly going viral on social media and is said to capture key moments before the initial police action.

The video shows a shooter in a black T-shirt, standing near some vehicles with a gun in his hand, openly firing. A panic ensues, with people running for cover. The next moment, the video shows a man in a white T-shirt suddenly approaching the shooter.

As soon as the shooter's attention is diverted, the man lunges at him from behind and attempts to overpower him. A scuffle ensues for a few seconds, and the man snatches the gun from the shooter. He then points it at the shooter, forcing him to retreat. However, the shooter's accomplice then opened fire from the other side.

Around 2,000 people were at the event

According to eyewitnesses, the event was organized by the Jewish organization Chabad, where around 2,000 people had gathered for candlelighting and religious rituals. At around 6:45 p.m. (local time), two armed assailants suddenly opened fire on the crowd. The sound of gunfire caused panic on the beach, and hundreds of people were seen running for cover.

Naftali Bennett Condemns the Incident

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and senior Israeli Foreign Ministry officials strongly condemned the incident. They described it as an attack on the Jewish community, expressing concern over the rise in anti-Semitic incidents in Australia, and demanded that the Jewish community be protected.
