Amid reports of the world's richest man Elon Musk's company Tesla coming to India, Tata Motors has announced special offers for its customers. Tata Motors is the country's largest electric car company. This company of Tata Group has achieved the big milestone of selling 2 lakh electric vehicles in the country.

To celebrate this achievement, the company is offering these offers for the next 45 days. According to media reports, Tesla may enter India in April 2025.

The company will import cars from Germany whose starting price will be Rs 21 lakh. The company plans to open showrooms in Mumbai and Delhi and for this it has also started recruitment in India.

Tata Motors currently sells 5 electric models in India. These include Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, and Curvv EV. Their price starts at Rs 7.99 lakh. Tata Motors is currently the largest EV selling company in India. In the year 2024, the company sold 61,496 EVs while in 2023 this number was 60,100.

However, the company's market share in the Indian market has come down from 73% to 62%. In the recently concluded India Mobility Global Expo 2025, the company also showcased its upcoming models.

These include Harrier EV and Sierra EV. Both these cars will be fully electric.

Special offers from Tata Motors include an exchange bonus of up to Rs 50,000. Also, there are attractive financing schemes, in which 100% on-road funding can be availed without any down payment. Customers buying Curvv EV or Nexon EV will get six months of free access to Tata Power's charging network and free installation of 7.2 kW AC charger at home.

There are also loyalty rewards for old Tata customers. Also, customers who want to replace their old Tata EV with Nexon EV or Curvv EV will get a loyalty bonus of Rs 50,000. Customers with Tata's petrol-diesel car will get a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000 if they buy an EV.
