Telangana: Ex-soldier kills wife, cuts body into pieces, then boils it in pressure cooker

Hyderabad Brutual Murder: A retired soldier killed his wife in Rangareddy district adjacent to Telangana's capital Hyderabad. Not only this, but the accused also cut the body into pieces, boiled it in a pressure cooker and then took it to the lake and threw it. In this case, the police have arrested the accused retired soldier and are investigating further.

This heart-wrenching incident is from Mirpet area of ​​​​Rangareddy district. Guru Murthy (45), a resident of Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, was working as a security guard in DRDO in Hyderabad after retiring from the army. He lived with his wife Venkat Madhavi (35) and two children in New Venkateshwara Nagar Colony in Mirpet.

Officials said that the accused Guru Murthy, along with his parents, lodged a complaint at the police station in Mirpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad on January 18 that his wife Venkat Madhavi was missing.

Accused kept pretending to be unaware in front of the police

Investigation has revealed that there were frequent quarrels between the husband and wife. Guru Murthy had informed Madhavi's family about her disappearance on January 18, after which Madhavi's family filed a missing person report at the Mirpet police station. During this time, Guru Murthy kept pretending to be completely unaware and also helped in the search for his wife.

Police started investigation

The police started investigation after registering the case. During this time, the police came to know that there was a quarrel between the husband and wife for the last few days. After this, the police took Guru Murthy into custody and interrogated him.

After police interrogated, he confessed his crime

Meanwhile, the police suspected Guru Murthy and when he was taken into custody and interrogated strictly, he confessed his crime. The retired soldier told that he killed his wife after a quarrel. After that, he cut the body into pieces and then boiled them in a pressure cooker and later threw them in the lake. The police have registered a case of murder against the accused husband and arrested him and are investigating further.

Ex-soldier is working as a security guard

The accused was married to Venkat Madhavi 13 years ago. Both have two children. Mirpet police said that the investigation of this murder case is going on and full details will be revealed soon.
