TERMINAL 2 OF MUMBAI AIRPORT RECEIVED A BOMB THREAT, KNOW WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT
An email was sent to Mumbai International Airport, threatening to blow up Terminal 2. The email sender is demanding ten million dollars in Bitcoin to stop the explosion.
A threat was received at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on Thursday. After receiving the threat, an FIR was registered at the Sahar police station.
After receiving the information, the police started an investigation. The airport is managed by Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). The airport received the threat in its feedback inbox at 11:06 p.m.
The email sender is demanding $1 million in Bitcoin within 48 hours to stop the explosion, saying, 'This is the last warning for your airport. If the US$10 million is not paid, Terminal 2 of the airport will be bombed. '
After receiving the threatening mail, MIAL customer care department officials have lodged a complaint against the unknown sender. A case has been registered against him under Sections 385 and 505 (1)(b).
