Tragic accident in Gujarat, bus fell into 200 feet deep gorge & was blown to pieces
Gujarat Bus Accident: A horrific road accident taken place in Dang district of Gujarat on Sunday (2 February 2025), in which 7 people died on the spot, while 17 others were seriously injured after a private bus fell into a 200 feet deep gorge. The crashed bus had left from Guna district of Madhya Pradesh carrying 48 pilgrims. The passengers were going towards Dwarka in Gujarat after visiting the Trimbakeshwar temple in Maharashtra.

The bus that met with the accident had left from Guna in Madhya Pradesh carrying 48 pilgrims. The passengers had visited the Trimbakeshwar temple in Maharashtra and were now heading towards Dwarka in Gujarat But this horrific accident happened near Saputara hill station in Dang district of Gujarat.
According to preliminary investigation, the bus driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, due to which the bus broke the safety barrier (guard rail) and fell into a 200 feet deep gorge.
Bus is carrying 48 pilgrims
After falling into the gorge, the bus was shattered, and a painful scene came to the fore. As soon as the accident was reported, the local police, administration and rescue teams immediately reached the spot. According to Superintendent of Police S.K. Singh, relief teams admitted the seriously injured passengers to Ahwa Civil Hospital in Gujarat. The condition of many passengers is said to be very critical.
Passengers belongs to Madhya Pradesh
As per Dang Police, all the passengers who lost their lives and got injured in this horrific accident are from Guna, Shivpuri and Ashoknagar districts of Madhya Pradesh. The bodies of all the deceased have been sent for post-mortem, and the treatment of the injured is going on in various hospitals.

After this accident, mourning has spread in Guna, Shivpuri and Ashoknagar districts of Madhya Pradesh. The families who lost their loved ones are immersed in grief. At the same time, the relatives of the injured are reaching the hospitals and inquiring about the well-being of their loved ones.
