Two Indian pilots killed in Plane Crash in Canada
In a tragic incident in British Colombia, a plane crashed in Chilliwack on Saturday. The information about twin-engined light plane crash was given by Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
In this plane crash two Indian trainee pilots were killed as well. These two Indian pilots are identified as Abhay Gadroo and Yash Ramugade who were natives from Mumbai.
According to reports, the plane crash site is approximately 200 kilometers away from the Vancouver. All people on board are reported to have lost life in the incident.
The cause of the plane named Piper PA -34 Seneca is still unknown. The Canadian Transportation Safety Board has launched the investigation on this crash. Royal Canadian Mounted Police has started informing the families of the deceased people.
According to media reports, the RCPM received the information about plane crash on Saturday Afternoon, 2pm PST and 2:30am IST. Canadian Seargent Pete Healey said that the incident occurred behind a motel near the airport.
According of the RCPM no other injuries are reported to other public in the area. It said "The scene is contained, and there were no other reported injuries or risks to the public in the area."
BC Emergency Health Services reported that in response to the crash, five ambulances and a paramedic supervisor were dispatched. Furthermore, two air ambulance helicopters were initially sent but were later canceled before reaching the crash site.
