How to Retrieve Aadhaar Online
If your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar, you can easily retrieve your Aadhaar number or EID using the Retrieve UID/EID option on the UIDAI website. You simply enter your name, registered mobile number or email address, and a captcha. An OTP will then be sent to your phone or email.
Once the OTP is entered correctly, your Aadhaar number or EID will be sent via SMS. This process is free and takes a few minutes.
How to get Aadhaar offline
If your mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, you will need to visit the nearest Aadhaar enrollment/update center. Here, you will be asked for information such as your name, gender, district, or PIN code. Biometric verification is then performed using a fingerprint or iris scan. If the verification is correct, the operator will print your e-Aadhaar. This fee is ₹30.
UIDAI Helpline Option
You can also get your EID by calling 1947. If your information matches, you will be issued an EID. You can also call back and get your Aadhaar number through IVRS by providing the EID, date of birth, and PIN code. This service is completely free.
