Under the direction of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, Noida Police awareness rally on International Women's Day
Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate organized an awareness rally under the Mission Shakti campaign in Noida on International Women's Day.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida, Manisha Singh, inaugurated the scooter and foot rally on International Women's Day from Gate No. 4 of the Noida Stadium. A large number of women police officers enthusiastically participated. The rally included women police officers riding scooters and marching on foot through various routes, finally concluding at the designated venue.
The rally, under the Mission Shakti campaign, spread the message of women's empowerment, safety, self-confidence, self-reliance, and equal rights. The public was informed that the Noida Police is committed to ensuring the safety, respect, and independence of women.
ADCP Manisha Singh said that during the programme, the general public was also made aware about various schemes and helpline numbers related to women's safety like Dail-112, Women Helpline Number-1090, Chief Minister Helpline Number-1076, Cyber Helpline Number-1930, Emergency Service-112, Child Helpline Number-1098, One Stop Centre Number-181 etc. and women and girls were encouraged to seek police help without hesitation in case of any kind of problem.
She said that this rally organised on the occasion of International Women's Day has been an important initiative towards spreading the objectives of Mission Shakti to the people, respecting women power and developing a positive thinking in the society towards the safety of women.
Today the Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate Police organized a scooter and foot rally to promote women's empowerment, safety, and awareness on the occasion of International Women's Day. Police officers shared the message of women's empowerment under the Mission Shakti campaign.
