UPSC CDS 1 recruitment notification released; graduates can apply

UPSC has released the notification for CDS 1. Candidates can fulfill their dream by applying through the CDS 1 recruitment.

Applications have opened on December 10th

Candidates can apply by visiting the UPSC's official website, upsconline.nic.in or upsc.gov.in. This year, recruitment for a total of 451 CDS posts has been announced. Applications for this position began on December 10th and will close on December 30th.

These are the eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS candidates:

Candidates for IMA and Officers Training Academy, Chennai, must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. For the Naval Academy, an engineering degree is required, and for the Air Force Academy, a 12th-grade degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or a bachelor's degree in engineering is required. The written examination will be held on April 12, 2026.

What is the age limit for CDS 1?

Candidates applying for IMA and INA must be unmarried and born no earlier than January 2, 2003, and no later than January 1, 2008. For OTA, this limit applies. Unmarried men born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2008, can apply. Meanwhile, applicants for the Air Force Academy must be between 20 and 24 years of age.

Application Fee for CDS 1

The application fee for CDS 1 is ₹200 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. ST, SC, and female candidates will not have to pay any fee.
