Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, which concluded on September 29th. However, managing traffic and maintaining law and order in high-tech cities like Noida and Greater Noida posed a significant challenge for the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police.

However, under the leadership of Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, the task was successfully accomplished. Upon assuming responsibility for the UP International Trade Show, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh first provided special training to police personnel deployed in the traffic department to control traffic.
For this purpose, she transferred 155 police personnel deployed at police stations and outposts to the traffic department. The training took place in the auditorium of the Police Commissioner's office in Sector 108, Noida.

Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh stated that traffic management is crucial at the UP International Trade Show 2025, as a large number of foreign guests will be attending, increasing the responsibility even further. Traffic police personnel were continuously trained in Gaya, Indore, and outdoors. Inspectors, sub-inspectors, constables, and head constables were trained on the MB Act, traffic signals, traffic rules, traffic equipment, and ways to interact and behave with people. All this was done under the supervision and direction of senior officers. Traffic police personnel were even trained in other languages, including English, so that foreign guests would have no difficulty communicating with them.

Over 400 traffic police personnel were deployed within a 5-kilometer radius of the venue throughout the trade show. After the successful completion of the trade show, Additional Chief Secretary, MSME and IDC, Alok Kumar, shared detailed achievements of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show.
The event attracted 2,228 exhibitors, 525 international buyers from 85 countries, 140,735 domestic B2B buyers, and 366,364 B2C visitors. The entire exhibition area of approximately 110,000 square meters was booked, requiring additional space to be arranged. The awareness stall set up by the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate was a special attraction for citizens.

Organized under the direction of Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna and the supervision of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, the stall featured the Special Task Force (STF), ATS, UP-112, Traffic Police, Women's Helpline 1090, Cyber Cell, FSL, Telecom, SDRF, GRP, and Fire Department, providing information about their operations and services. Since the opening day, the stall has attracted large crowds of youth and entrepreneurs.

The modern weapons and technical equipment displayed by the ATS and STF particularly attracted the youth. The stalls detailed police schemes, services, and digital platforms, such as the UP-COP app, online complaint registration, and character verification. The Cyber Cell provided information on digital crimes such as phishing, ransomware, sextortion, fake loan apps, mule accounts, and online shopping fraud.

Citizens were informed about these measures and the process for filing complaints on the cyber portal www.cyberpolice.uppolice.gov.in. Under Mission Shakti 5.0, women and girls were informed about gender-based crimes, cybersecurity, women's laws, and empowerment schemes. Children were educated on the difference between good touch and bad touch. Helpline numbers such as 1090, 1076, 1930, 112, 1098, and 181 were also shared.
