Uttarakhand: Helicopter crashes near Gangaani in Uttarkashi, 6 passengers killed
Uttarkashi: Tragic accident has been happened in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. A helicopter has crashed near Gangaani at 9 am. 6 passengers have died in this accident. Pictures of the wreckage of the helicopter have also surfaced. This helicopter is said to be of a private company and was going towards Gangotri. Local people and police are present at the spot.
What is the whole matter?
A helicopter of Aero Trans Private Company going towards Gangotri Dham crashed. This accident is reported to have happened near Bhagirathi river, below the Nag temple ahead of Gangaani. According to preliminary information, the helicopter was carrying devotees who were on a pilgrimage to Gangotri Dham.

Helicopter going towards Gangotri Dham
As soon as the incident was reported, the administration and relief agencies swung into action. Police, Army's special contingent, Disaster Management's QRT team, NDRF, SDRF, 108 Ambulance Service, Tehsildar Bhatwadi, BDO Bhatwadi and Revenue Department teams have been dispatched to the spot.

At present, the cause of the accident is not known and relief and rescue work is going on at the spot. More information is awaited.
CM Dhami's statement surfaced
CM Dhami posted on Instagram and said, 'Very sad news has been received about some casualties in a helicopter crash near Gangani in Uttarkashi. SDRF and district administration teams have immediately reached the spot for relief and rescue work. May God grant the souls of those who died in the accident a place in His feet and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense grief.
