Visakhapatnam murder case: Navy technician kills woman, dismembers body, stores parts in fridge

Visakhapatnam murder case: A shocking incident has come to light from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. A married Indian Navy personnel murdered his former girlfriend. To destroy evidence, he then cut her body into five pieces, hiding three of the pieces in the refrigerator and a suitcase, and burning the other two. Police have arrested the accused Navy personnel and are currently interrogating him.
The torso was kept in the refrigerator, while the waist and legs were placed in a suitcase.
According to police, the accused Navy personnel ordered a knife online and chopped his ex-girlfriend's body into pieces. He then stored some of the body parts in the refrigerator. Then, last Sunday, he burned her head and hands in an empty field near Adavivaram. Police said the accused was identified as Ravindra (30), posted at INS Dega.
They met on a dating app
The deceased was identified as Monica (31), a resident of the Tatichetla Palem area of Visakhapatnam, with whom Ravindra had been in contact since 2021. They met through a dating app. Police said that over time, their relationship deepened, and they frequently met at various places in Visakhapatnam, such as parks and theaters.
Ex-girlfriend Monica used to threaten Ravindra
Subsequently, in 2024, Ravindra married another woman. According to a police officer, the accused said that Monica threatened him that she would tell his wife about their relationship. Furthermore, Monica also took ₹3.5 lakh from him. Due to this, there were frequent fights between the two, after which he hatched a conspiracy and murdered Monica.
Ordered a knife online and dismembered the body
Police have arrested the accused, Ravindra, and are interrogating him. The officer further stated that on the day of the incident, Ravindra invited Monica to his flat in the Gajuwaka area of Visakhapatnam, where a heated argument ensued. Ravindra then strangled Monica to death. He then ordered a knife online and dismembered the body. He took the head and both hands to Simhachalam and burned them, while hiding the other dismembered body parts in a freezer and a suitcase.

It is alleged that he chopped Shraddha's body into pieces and stuffed the chopped parts in a refrigerator and dumped them at different places in the capital over several days.
