Voting begins for civic elections in Haryana, people arriving in large numbers to vote
Voting has started on Sunday for urban local body elections in Haryana. The State Election Commission has made extensive arrangements to ensure that there is no chaos during voting. In the voting, voting will be held for the mayors of 7 municipal corporations, wards and presidents of 21 municipalities. Apart from this, voting will also be held for the presidents of four municipal councils and their wards.

39 candidates are in the fray for the post of Mayor in 9 Municipal Corporations
A total of 27 candidates are in the race for the post of President for five Municipal Councils. At the same time, a total of 151 candidates are trying their luck for the post of President of 23 Municipal Councils.
There will be a complete ban on the sale of liquor on the day of voting. If anyone is found violating the rules, strict action will be taken.
