Three parties will not participate in voting in this election. Naveen Patnaik's party BJD from Odisha, Shiromani Akali Dal from Punjab and Chandrashekhar Rao's party BRS from Telangana have announced to stay away from the Vice President election. Another important thing, AIMIM and Aam Aadmi Party have supported the candidate of India Alliance, while YSRCP has expressed confidence in the NDA candidate.
