Voting on 70 seats of Delhi today, 1.56 crore voters will decide fate of 699 candidates

Election Commission's preparations for peaceful elections!
The Election Commission has deployed 220 companies of paramilitary forces, 35,626 Delhi Police personnel and 19,000 home guards to ensure peaceful voting. About 3,000 polling stations have been identified as sensitive, where tight security arrangements have been made. During the voting, the police team will also monitor with drones.
Delhi Police said that additional police forces will be deployed for sensitive booths, where QRTs will also be deployed to maintain law and order. Special provisions have been made for senior citizens and Divyangs, 733 polling stations have been set up for them.
EC mobile app to manage crowd
The Election Commission has also made arrangements to avoid crowding at polling stations. For this, the Commission has launched an app for queue management system. With this, voters will be able to get information about the crowd at the respective polling station in real time.

Apart from these, let us tell you that under the voting facility, 7,553 such people were identified in Delhi, who could not come to the polling station, and 6,980 of them have already cast their votes.
AAP-BJP and Congress's strength in election campaign
The election campaign for Delhi elections ended at 6 pm on Monday. A high-voltage contest was seen between the three main contenders AAP-BJP-Congress in the campaign. Aam Aadmi Party sought votes on the basis of its record of work, with Arvind Kejriwal, CM Atishi leading the party's campaign, and all the party leaders vigorously involved in the campaign.

Aam Aadmi Party has promised free bus service for students in Delhi, insurance for auto-taxi drivers and monthly financial assistance of Rs 18,000 for temple priests.
BJP has promised financial assistance of Rs 21,000 for pregnant women and subsidized LPG cylinder for Rs 500, while Congress has announced a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 8,500.

The results of the Delhi Assembly elections will be declared on February 8, when it will be decided whether Aam Aadmi Party is able to retain its power, or BJP-Congress ends its long exile and emerges victorious to gain power. FIR against Delhi CM Atishi
A day before polling, Delhi Police on Tuesday registered an FIR against Chief Minister and Kalkaji AAP candidate Atishi for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and obstructing the work of government employees. Delhi Police said Atishi was with AAP supporters who allegedly obstructed an officer from performing his duty on Fateh Singh Marg. Also, two AAP members allegedly assaulted a police constable.
