The police have arrested the attacker. He raised slogans about Palestine during the arrest. The Israeli Embassy has reacted to this matter. According to it, two embassy officials have lost their lives in the firing.

According to news agency BNO, there has been a fierce firing in Washington DC. This incident happened around 9.15 pm. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot. One man and one woman are reported to have been killed in this attack. Both the people killed in the attack were Israeli diplomats.

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon shared the post on the social media platform X. He wrote, "Israeli Embassy employees have been injured in the deadly shooting." Danny Danon has called it "a despicable act of anti-Semitic terrorism". Attorney General Pamela Bondi has reacted to this matter. She has expressed grief by sharing a post on X.

Israeli Embassy expressed confidence in the administration
Tal Naim Cohen, spokesperson for the Israeli Embassy in Washington, wrote on X, "Two employees of the Israeli Embassy were shot at close range near the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington DC. We have full confidence in law enforcement officials at both the local and federal levels, they will protect Israeli representatives and Jewish communities throughout the United States."
