Weather: Heat wave wreaks havoc in 9 states, fire raining from the sky, IMD alert

The month of April is in its last phase and the heat is at its peak. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in many states including Delhi.

Weather: The weather is taking a terrible form. The mercury has crossed 40 in most parts of the country. If the report of the Meteorological Department is to be believed, a severe heat wave warning has been issued in the next five days with the mercury rising in North-West India i.e. Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi. At the same time, heat has started wreaking havoc in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar-Jharkhand.

The Meteorological Department has also predicted relief in some states in the coming days.

Heat wave wreaks havoc in 9 states

According to the latest report of the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation of winds is formed over northwest Bihar, while a similar seasonal activity is also present in the Gulf of Mannar (Tamil Nadu). Similar activity is also present in Manipur and Assam of North-East.

Under its influence, a forecast of strong thunderstorms and light rain has been issued in many states. Northeast states such as Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to receive rain in the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of rain in other Northeast states.

IMD issued heat wave alert

The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in many states. The Meteorological Department said that between 22 and 28 April, heat wave is likely in East Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, between today and 26 April, severe heat wave is likely in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand.

Hot weather is likely at night at isolated places in Bihar during 22-25 April, in Odisha during 22-24 April, in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 22 and 23 April and in Gangetic West Bengal on 23 and 24 April.

Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in many states

Hot and humid weather is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during 23-26 April, over Jharkhand, Gujarat during 23-24 April, over Konkan and Goa on 23 April, over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada during 23-25 ​​April.

Effect of Western Disturbance

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of light rain in many parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Coast Andhra Pradesh, Karaikal and eastern India. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of winds at a speed of 50 kmph, lightning and hailstorm in the next 72 hours.

At the same time, due to a fresh Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain in the Western Himalayas like Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

The mercury has crossed 40 in many states. A warning of even more severe heat has been issued in Delhi in the coming days. However, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of improvement in the weather in many states in the next 4 to 5 days.
