Supreme Court: The Supreme Court has used its privilege to get admission to a student in the prestigious IIT ISM Dhanbad of Jharkhand. Meanwhile SC using its power under Article 142, directed that the petitioner should be given admission. The student missed taking admission after the fee deadline was over.

However Court has given a big relief to the student who was deprived of IIT admission due to not being able to pay the fees on time. Though the Supreme Court said, that students like the petitioner come from weaker sections. They cannot be stopped from taking admission.
The bench CJI DY Chandrachud directed IIT ISM Dhanbad
The bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra directed that the petitioner should be given admission in the seat of Electrical Engineering course in IIT Dhanbad. In the meanwhile, court said that a separate seat should be increased for him so that there is no problem in the admission of any other student. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said that we cannot let such a young talented boy go.
Student father made rounds of the SC-ST Commission for three months
He is the son of a daily wage laborer from Uttar Pradesh. The student had collected about Rs 17,500 from the villagers by 4.45 pm on June 24, but the deadline to pay the fees was only 5 pm. He could not make the online payment. For three months, the father kept making rounds of the SC-ST Commission, then Jharkhand and Madras High Court.

Know the Article 142
The Constitution of India gives the Supreme Court the right that the court can pass an order for complete justice in any case. This provision of the article also gives the right to implement the order of the Supreme Court in the entire country.
