Ayodhya is getting ready to once again welcome Bhagwan Ram in the new year on January 22, 2024. millions of devotees have been waiting for this day for decades.

Ram Nagri Ayodhya

The temple town of Ayodhya will have to match the significance and grandeur of the Ram Mandir, therefore, authorities have been continuously making efforts to develop the city in all manners. The 13km Rampath destined for Sahadtganj has been transformed into a 40-foot wide road. All buildings and establishments along the roads are painted in an effort to beautify the city.

The main 90-foot Ram Janmbhoomi Path leading to the temple will also witness lighting and canopy work.  Along with this, beautification work at the Ramkatha Museum is also underway at the Nayaghat. 37 historic temples in Ayodhya are also renovated.

Several flyovers are also constructed to achieve smooth transportation.

Security Arrangements in Ayodhya

Police administration in Ayodhya will be implementing a new full-proof plan for the Pran Pratistha week. Every person visiting Ram Mandir will have to cross security arrangements to reach their destination. The authorities will install 2,500 cameras in nearby areas of Ram Mandir to watch every activity.

There will be restrictions for fly drones above the temple. No drones will be allowed to fly without permission in Ayodhya. Police will keep an eye on Drones as well. A Police official stated that the department will use AI in Camera for surveillance as well.

Capacity to welcome Lakhs

The people of Ayodhya have already been welcoming an increased number of tourists throughout the year who came to witness the construction of the Ram Mandir and for darshan. Employment and livelihood opportunities in Ayodhya have increased as a large number of people are required to host thousands of tourists and devotees in the city.

Railway Station and Airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the newly built highly modern railway station of Ayodhya. The PM will also inaugurate the Maryada Purushotam Shri Ram International Airport connecting Ayodhya to the world.
