WhatsApp: Multiple accounts can now run on a single phone, a new feature is coming
WhatsApp Multiple Accounts: If you use WhatsApp for messaging and chatting, this news is for you. WhatsApp will soon be rolling out a feature that will allow you to use multiple accounts within a single WhatsApp app. WhatsApp is finally testing a feature users have been waiting for years. The new feature will allow users to instantly switch between multiple WhatsApp accounts on a single phone. Until now, this feature was only available through the Business app. The feature is currently available to a limited number of beta testers, and the rollout timeline is unclear, but it is being seen as a major change.
The feature is currently in early testing and is expected to reach Android soon.

WhatsApp's New Switch Accounts Feature
In the iOS 25.19.20.74 beta test, some users have spotted a new option called "Switch Accounts" in WhatsApp settings. This feature displays all linked profiles on a single screen, allowing users to quickly switch to another account. Until now, this feature wasn't natively available on WhatsApp, requiring users to repeatedly log in and out. Initial reports indicate that the feature is currently in limited beta testing.
Why is this feature in high demand?
In many countries, including India, people use two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone. Sometimes the phone is shared within a family, and sometimes they create separate accounts for personal and friend groups. With different icons, privacy settings, and chat patterns, users have different needs for different profiles. Because of this, multi-account support has long been considered a much-needed feature.

Summary
There has been no official statement from WhatsApp yet, so the public rollout may take time. Currently, this feature is believed to be in the initial testing phase
