The last time BJP government was in power in Delhi was from 1993 to 1998, when Sushma Swaraj was the Chief Minister in the last years.
Who is Rekha Gupta?
Rekha Gupta is an MLA from Shalimar Bagh. She won by 29,595 votes. Currently she is the National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha. She came into politics during her student life. She was the Secretary and President of Delhi University Students Union.
She became a councilor from North Pitampura in 2007 and 2012. She had to face defeat in the assembly elections in 2015 and 2020.
