With limited electricity output, Bengaluru will likely see scheduled power outages
Due to a dramatic decline in electricity generation, Bengaluru city is anticipated to have scheduled power interruptions for the majority of this week.

Due to outages in some locations, power supply firms including the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) and the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) have also started a number of maintenance projects.
However, certain tasks might be finished earlier. The majority of these disruptions are anticipated to happen between 10 am and 4 pm.

These projects include, among other things, renovation, modernization, DTC structure maintenance, line maintenance, underground cable rectification, ring main unit maintenance, tree trimming, Jalasiri 24-hour water supply work, strengthening of jumps, exchange of deteriorated poles, and change of slanted poles.
