World Athletics Championships 2025: Olympic gold medalist Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was eliminated from the World Championships after a dismal performance. Neeraj's performance in Tokyo, Japan, was extremely poor. He managed only 84.03 meters in the javelin throw final. Neeraj's first throw was 83.65 meters, but his performance continued to deteriorate. Neeraj failed to even make the top six, thus eliminating him from the World Athletics Championships.
Along with Neeraj Chopra, Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem also failed to make the cut, managing a distance of 82.73 meters. He also failed to make the top six.

Neeraj Chopra covered a distance of 83.65 meters in his first throw.
The second throw was 84.03 meters.
Neeraj fouled his third throw.
Neeraj Chopra's javelin went 82.86 meters in his fourth throw.
Neeraj Chopra's fifth throw was also a foul.

Sachin Yadav showed his strength
Interestingly, India's second javelin thrower, Sachin Yadav, threw the javelin 86.27 meters, farther than Neeraj Chopra. This is Sachin Yadav's career best performance, placing him in fourth place. However, his second attempt was a foul.
