'World knows epicenter of terrorism: India Slams Pakistan’s ‘baseless’ claims over Train Hijack

Pakistan government had been accused India of the train hijacking incident in Balochistan. Today Indian government rejected the allegations, said that the world knows where the hub of terrorism is.

India On Pakistan Train Hijacking Allegation: Pakistan's Shahbaz government had accused India of the Jaffar Express train hijacking in Balochistan. After this, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement on Friday (March 14) rejecting the 'baseless allegations' and advised its neighbor to look at 'its internal problems'.

Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan presented evidence of the call from Afghanistan during a press conference on Thursday and said that we are confident that India is behind this. Pakistan accused India of spreading unrest in Balochistan and claimed that calls from Afghanistan confirm this.

Pakistan should look within itself - MEA

The Indian government, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal rejected these allegations and said, "We strongly reject the baseless allegations made by Pakistan. The whole world knows where the hub of global terrorism is. Pakistan should look within itself instead of blaming others for its internal problems.

Afghanistan also responded to Pakistan

Even though the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan also rejected Pakistan's claims. However they said that, Pakistan needs to address its internal security concerns instead of making baseless allegations.Meanwhile  Afghanistan government clearly said that these allegations have no basis.

 

Jaffar Express train hijacking incident

However, hijacking of Jaffar Express train in Balochistan happened on March 11. The attack killed 58 people, including 21 passengers, four soldiers and 33 militants of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Pakistan accused India of supporting organisations like the BLA, but India has strongly denied these allegations.

The Balochistan insurgency has been going on for decades, rooted in poverty, political marginalisation and other local issues. Pakistan has consistently accused India of supporting these insurgent groups.
