According to a report by Odditycentral, Alabama native Slater Jones has the world's most expensive artificial eye. Jones owns a jewelry store and had a 2-carat diamond embedded in his artificial eye.

A diamond is set in the right eye

After completely losing his right eye, this Alabama jewelry store owner decided to personalize his new artificial eye by having a diamond set in it. Having lost his right eye due to a debilitating illness, the jewelry store owner reached out to John Lim, an expert in artificial eye implants.

Ordered a Creative Artificial Eye

Jones ordered a special artificial eye. He wanted one that would truly reflect his identity as a jewelry designer. He asked for a two-carat diamond to be placed in the center of the diamond.
