NIDJAM 2024 has started from today at Gujarat University Ground, Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Minister of State for Home and Sports Harshbhai Sanghvi inaugurated NIDJAM 2024. Athletes from Kashmir to Kanyakumari participated in NIDJAM 2024. 5558 athletes from 616 districts have participated in NIDJAM 2024.

NIDJAM 2024 features sports including normal running, hurdles, long jump and high jump, short put throw and javelin throw. NIDJAM 2024 sports competition will continue for the next 2 days.

If you don't sweat in the field, you won't get success

On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that all the dignitaries including Sports Minister Harsh Shanghvi present on the stage at the inauguration of NIDJAM 2024 salute the players present. NIDJAM 2024 organized in Gujarat is proof that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of taking the country forward in the field of sports and bringing it to the top position is coming true today. This year a budget of Rs 376 crore was allocated for sports

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started the Khel Mahakumbh in 2010 when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Today the number of Khel Mahakumbh registrations has reached 75 lakh. Preparations for the 2036 Olympics have also started in Gujarat. He said that this year a budget of Rs 376 crore has been allocated for sports. Jai keeps losing in this athletic meet but we should always be careful so that the name of the country becomes bright and the country moves forward. Today Gujarat is on top in many sports

Harsh Sanghvi said that in 2010, Khel Mahakumbh started in every village of Gujarat and all the players performed very well. Today Gujarat has reached the top number in many sports and hence budget is allocated for many such events and I heartily thank the Gujarat government and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, I heartily thank all the players.
