The Country’s Minister of road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari recently shared some of the pictures of the newly constructed Dehi-Mumbai expressway which is claimed to be the country’s largest expressway till date.

Just after sharing the pictures on Twitter, the netizens went crazy on there social media,  His tweets of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway pictures have garnered over 1 million views.


Talking about the expressway, it is to be there country’s largest expressway till date having  1,386 kms. This expressway improves the connectivity between the two metropolitans. According to the government this expressway will reduce the travel time between New Delhi and Mumbai from 24 to 12 hours. This expressway will be a 8 lane express highway with the provision to be expanded further to 12 lanes in future. It also reduces the travel distance between the two cities by 180 kms, the travel distance has been reduced from 1424 km to 1242 km.
