No new taxes introduced by State's Finance Minister

Following is the list of all updates: 

  • Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train Project: A provision of 200 crore covers equity contribution to the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train Project under PM Gati Shakti
  • No new taxes says state finance minister Desai: State’s finance minister made it clear that there will be no introduction of new Taxes for the audiences, which is a sight of relief for the people of Gujarat.
  • 5 new Highway projects to come up: Five highways in Gujarat to be developed as high-speed corridors at cost of 1,500 crore: State Finance Minister.
  • FinTech hub to be set up at GIFT City, Gandhinagar: Fintech hub to be established at GIFT City with support of Asian Development Bank. A provision of 76 crores was proposed for GIFT City.
  • The Narmada project: 5950 crores for Narmada project. This includes a provision or 1082 crore for the remaining works of the Kutch branch canal.
  • reconstruction and strengthening of old bridges: A provision of 550 crores for reconstruction and strengthening of old bridges to avoid any calamities.
  • Significant increase of 57,056.89 crore in budgetary provision: Significant increase of 57,056.89 crore in the budgetary provision, which is 23.38% higher over the previous year to increase quality investment for the brighter future of next generation
