Pakistan has been severely hit by multiple blasts in the country on September 29, Friday.

The first deadly blast took place in Mustung district of Balochistan. This blast occurred near Madina Mosque on Al Falah Road killing at least 50 people and injuring 52 others. The incident occurred when people were  gathering near the mosque for the Eid-i-Miladun Nabi procession. The procession marked the birthday of Prophet Muhammad and is celebrated as public holiday in Pakistan.

The blast also killed police personals including DSP Nawaz Gishkori.  Police officer SHO Lahri confirmed that the blast was a suicide bombing. According to the police the procession departed from the Medina mosque and was targeted when it reached Al Falah road.

The banned terrorist organization Tehreek-i-Taliban of Pakistan has denied taking the responsibility of the blast.

Balochistan interim Information Minister Jan Achakzai has condemned the blast and the intension behind it. He has also appealed to blood donors to come forward and donate blood to help the injured.

Another two blast took place in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa region in Hangu. First at the entrance of the police station. Few minutes after the first blast, another blast took place in a mosque located in the premises of the same police station.

According to a Pakistan Newspaper, police has confirmed causalities and injuries. The second blast in the blast led to the roof collapsing trapping nearly 30 to 40 people under the rubble. The authorities called heavy machinery to retrieve stuck people.

As per reported by Dawn, the death toll rose to 5 people were another 6 were critically injured and were receiving treatment in hospital.

No group or individual has taken responsibility of the blast. The blasts are termed as suicide bombings. Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took to X, formerly known as twitter to express his grief.   He said "Deeply saddened by the tragic events in Hangu, where innocent citizens and a courageous police officer lost their lives in the cowardly bomb blasts that struck both a police station and a mosque."
