Paris Olympics 2024: Anantjeet Singh and Maheshwari Chauhan Target Bronze
Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Maheshwari Chauhan have advanced to the bronze medal play-off in the skeet mixed team event, finishing fourth in the qualification rounds. The Indian duo will face China today at 6:30 PM for a chance to secure India's fourth medal at the Paris Olympics 2024. During the qualification, the Indian pair initially tied for second place with a score of 49, alongside teams from Australia, Korea, France, and two Italian squads. Anantjeet Singh Naruka achieved a perfect score of 25/25 in the first round, while Maheshwari Chauhan scored 24/25. In the second round, Chauhan scored another perfect 25, but Naruka missed two shots in the 2nd and 5th series, bringing their score to 23 and their total to 48. In the final round, India earned 49 points with Chauhan scoring 25 and Naruka 24.
