Women’s 400m Round 1 Heat 5

Kiran Pahal finished 7th out of eight runners in the women’s 400m Round 1 Heat 5, recording a time of 52.51 seconds. Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic, the current world champion and Tokyo 2020 silver medallist, led the heat with a time of 49.42 seconds.

Table Tennis: Manika Batra Advances

In table tennis, Manika Batra secured a decisive victory in her third game with a score of 11-9, winning the match 3-0. Batra, India’s top-ranked singles player, showed no signs of nerves and successfully advanced India to the quarterfinals.
