Paris Olympics 2024 Day 7: On August 2, the seventh day of the Paris Olympics 2024, the global sporting event continues to shine in the ‘City of Light’. The 33rd edition of the Summer Games, which began on July 26, will run through to August 11. Today’s events include Manu Bhaker competing in the Women’s 25m Pistol event, badminton player Lakshya Sen in the singles quarterfinals, and judoka Tulika Maan making her Olympic debut.

• 12:30 PM IST: Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will participate in the second round of the Men's Individual Stroke Play.

Shooting

• 12:30 PM IST: Manu Bhaker and Esha Singh will compete in the Women's 25m Pistol Qualification (Precision).
• 1:00 PM IST: Anantjeet Singh Naruka begins the Men’s Skeet Qualification, Day 1.
• 3:30 PM IST: Manu Bhaker and Esha Singh return for the Women's 25m Pistol Qualification (Rapid).

Archery

• 1:19 PM : The Recurve Mixed Team featuring Dhiraj Bommadevara and Ankita Bhakat will face Diananda Choirunisa and Arif Pangestu from Indonesia in the 1/8 Eliminations.

• 5:45 PM: Dhiraj Bommadevara and Ankita Bhakat will compete in the Recurve Mixed Team Quarterfinals, provided they qualify.

• 7:01 PM IST: If successful, they will proceed to the Recurve Mixed Team Semifinals.

Judo

• 1:30 PM IST: Tulika Maan makes her Olympic debut against Idalys Ortiz of Cuba in the Women’s +78kg Elimination Round of 32.
