Hanumanji is the Chief here
If you are going to Ayodhya, you have to first visit Hanumanji, because Hanumanji is the Chief General here. From the main gate one has to walk 500 to 700 meters. Lord Rama gave him a place to stay here when he came victorious from Lanka. This temple was built by Mahant Abhay Ramdasjia 300 years ago. It has symbols from the Lankan conquest.

Security has been increased in Ayodhya
At present, security has been increased in Ayodhya. UP Police, ATS personnel are patrolling the streets of Ayodhya. Mock drills are being conducted from the airport to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk. The security convoy includes UP Police personnel, black commandos. Ayodhya is now under SPG control.
