Two tiers are available: a $16 monthly 'Premium ' tier and a $3 monthly 'Basic' tier. The company hopes to increase subscription income with these updated rates.

Users of the Premium tier receive the "largest reply boost" and are exempt from seeing advertisements in the "For You" and "Following" feeds. A blue checkmark is absent from the "Basic" category, but users can still modify posts, upload longer text and videos, and receive a "small reply boost."

The "Basic" plan, however, only offers a "small boost" to replies and excludes verification with a checkmark. According to ANI, it does not grant access to X's media studio or lessen the amount of advertisements.

Access to creator tools and revenue-sharing are also features of the Premium tier. According to The Verge, the Premium Plus plan expands upon the Premium capabilities that X already offers, including a blue checkmark, tweet editing, longer posts and videos, encrypted direct messaging, and more.
