PM Modi mentioned Ram Mandir, attacked Opposition, then performed Ravan Dahan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived today on the occasion of Dussehra to participate in the Vijayadashami program at Ramlila Maidan in Dwarka, Delhi. After reaching here, PM Modi first performed puja. During this, PM Modi took off his shoes and worshiped Ram-Sita-Lakshman. After the aarti of Ram-Sita-Lakshman, PM Modi addressed the nation.
PM Modi, who reached Ramlila Maidan in Dwarka, said that this festival is an opportunity for us to reiterate our resolve. This is the festival of victory of patience over anger. This is the festival of victory over ego. PM said that this time we are celebrating Vijayadashami, when two months of victory over the moon have been completed. There is also a tradition of worshiping weapons on the day of Vijayadashami, worshiping weapons is not done for dominance but for security.

PM Modi said that this is the festival of Lord Ram's victory over the tyrant Ravana. We are celebrating Vijay Dashami, when we have completed two months of Chandra Vijay. There is a custom of worshiping weapons on Vijayadashami, we worship weapons for protection, not for attack. PM said that our Shakti Puja is for the prosperity of the entire world. We know the knowledge of Gita and also how INS Vikrant and Tejas were built. We know the dignity of Lord Ram and also know how to protect our boundaries.

Today Ravana Dahan should not be just an effigy. Every evil which spoils the mutual harmony of the society should be burnt in this fire. This should burn the forces dividing the country in the name of casteism and regionalism. With this, those thoughts should be burnt in which India's development is not selfishness.

During this, PM Modi also mentioned the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. The PM said that the wait of centuries is coming to an end. Construction of Ram temple is our victory. Lord Ram is coming. The Prime Minister also mentioned 'Bhay Manipat Kripala'. During this, PM Modi said that Vijayadashami is like the return of Lord Ram. Good things are happening in India, we have reached the moon, we are going to become the third largest economy in the world, the new Parliament building has been built, the Women's Reservation Bill has been passed. And at this time the whole world is watching the mother of democracy.
During this, PM Modi requested everyone to take 10 resolutions.
