PM Modi pays homage to Pulwama Martyrs on Anniversary
On the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored the 40 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) personnel who lost their lives in the tragic incident. The attack took place on February 14, 2019, when a suicide bomber targeted a security convoy, resulting in the loss of brave Indian soldiers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media platform 'X' to express his respects, stating, "I pay homage to the brave heroes who were martyred in Pulwama. Their service and sacrifice for our nation will always be remembered." The tweet included a link to his official tweet:

Remembrance of Pulwama Attack
February 14, 2019, marked the sorrowful day when 40 Indian soldiers lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack. The suicide bomber rammed an IED-laden vehicle into the security convoy, leaving a lasting impact on the nation.
Indian Response to Pulwama Attack
In the aftermath of the Pulwama attack, the Indian Air Force conducted multiple aerial strikes on February 26, 2019, targeting JeM terror camps in Pakistan's Balakot. The strikes aimed to neutralize terrorists and destroy their infrastructure.
Brave Soldiers Remembered by Leaders
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar paid tributes to the fallen soldiers, stating, "Pay homage to our brave jawans who laid down their lives this day in Pulwama in 2019. Their courage motivates us to keep up our vigil against cross-border terrorism."
Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar reflected on the sacrifice of the soldiers, expressing solidarity with their families. He stated, "We stand united in solidarity with their families and loved ones, offering our deepest condolences and unwavering support. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten or forgiven."
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also honored the memory of the fallen soldiers, stating, "Today, we honor the memory of the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in Pulwama. We pay tribute to their families, who have shown unwavering strength & resilience. We remain forever indebted to their service."
Rahul Gandhi's Salute to Pulwama Martyrs
Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi paid his respects, saying, "Salutes and humble tributes to the brave martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack. The country will always be indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice dedicated to the defense of India."
