PM Modi Thanks Global Leaders for Well-Wishes on Chandrayaan 3 Moon Landing

Chandrayaan-3 has achieved a soft landing on the moon, garnering praise from leaders worldwide. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude for the well-wishes and highlighted the milestone's significance for human endeavor.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan commended India's achievement as a stride in scientific progress.

EU President Ursula von der Leyen applauded India's pioneering role in space exploration. Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez emphasized the positive impact of scientific progress. Madagascar's President also hailed India's success.

As the Vikram lander touched down on the moon's surface with the Pragyaan rover, India became the fourth country to achieve this feat. The landing, a culmination of ISRO's efforts, established India as the first to land on the moon's south side. Bhutan's Prime Minister Lotay Tshering celebrated India's success, emphasizing its global impact.

Chandrayaan-3's soft landing was observed through special screenings across the nation and online platforms. Launched from Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota on July 14, the mission marks a significant step in India's space journey.
