AAP released first list for Delhi elections, 6 out of 11 candidates are from Congress & BJP
AAP Candidate List: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released the first list of 11 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. While there are still three months left for the assembly elections. It is clear from this strategy of AAP, that like the last three assembly elections, this time too it wants to defeat BJP or Congress politically in Delhi.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released the first list of candidates for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 after the PAC meeting. The first list includes the names of 11 candidates.
AAP is kind to leaders who came from BJP and Congress
While Aam Aadmi Party has shown generosity in giving tickets to those people in the first list, who have joined BJP and Congress during the last few months. Such candidates include six names including Anil Jha, BB Tyagi, Veer Singh Dhingan and Somesh Shaukeen.
The meeting on the other side is also going on. Just before the meeting, the final decision was taken on the names of 11 candidates.
Tickets will be distributed on the basis of work
However, AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal has been continuously saying that tickets for contesting elections will be distributed on the basis of work, public opinion and chances of victory of potential candidates.
Let us tell you that in the assembly elections held in the year 2020, AAP won 62 out of 70 assembly seats. BJP candidates were successful in winning eight seats
Who will get ticket from where?
Brahm Singh Tanwar will contest from Chhatarpur.
Senior BJP leader and three-time MLA Brahm Singh Tanwar recently joined AAP on 31 October.
Anil Jha will be AAP candidate from Kiradi.
Veteran BJP leader and two-time MLA from Kiradi, Anil Jha joined AAP. During this, Arvind Kejriwal welcomed Anil Jha into the party, calling him the biggest leader of Purvanchal.
Deepak Singhla will contest from Vishwas Nagar.
Sarita Singh will be AAP candidate from Rohtas Nagar.
BB Tyagi will be AAP candidate from Laxmi Nagar.
BJP suffered a major setback in Delhi on 4 November, when BJP leader and two-time councilor BB Tyagi joined AAP.
Ram Singh will be the candidate from Badarpur.
Zubair Chaudhary will be the AAP candidate from Seelampur.
Not just BJP, but leaders who joined AAP from Congress have also got tickets. Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed, son of 5-time MLA from Congress Mateen Ahmed, joined Aam Aadmi Party on 29 October
Veer Singh Dhingan will contest from Seemapuri.
Former Congress leader Veer Singh Dhingan joined AAP on 15 November. Dhingan has been an MLA from Seemapuri 3 times.
Gaurav Sharma will contest from Ghonda.
Manoj Tyagi will be the AAP candidate from Karawal Nagar.
Sumesh Shaukeen will be the AAP candidate from Matiala.
Sumesh Shaukeen, former Congress MLA from Matiala Assembly, left the Congress and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Meanwhile six leaders who have joined AAP from other parties and got tickets were inducted into the party by Arvind Kejriwal himself. These include 2 such leaders who have been MLAs from BJP.
