Supreme Court:  Hearing going to be held again, in the Supreme Court regarding air pollution in Delhi/NCR. While on the previous date, the SC had reprimanded the Air Quality Management Commission for lack of preparation. At the same time, today the Supreme Court will also hear the marital rape case.

SC will hear many big cases today

Though,  the case related to the felling of trees by the Development Authority  in the Ridge area of ​​​​Delhi will also be heard in the SC.

West Bengal teacher recruitment case, air pollution in Delhi/NCR, Uddhav vs Shinde Shiv Sena dispute and many other big cases will be heard in the Supreme Court today.

Hearing on  the marital rape case

The Supreme Court will hear several petitions demanding that marital rape be considered a crime. Meanwhile the central government has always said that apart from being a legal issue, it also has a social impact. Discussions have also been held with various states on the question of making marital rape a crime.

DDA case of falling trees

Today SC will hear the case related to the felling of trees by the Development Authority in the Ridge area of ​​​​Delhi. Earlier, the case was transferred to the CJI-led bench, as two different benches have passed different orders.

West Bengal teacher recruitment case

Even though the SC will hear the appeal of the West Bengal government challenging the Calcutta High Court's decision to cancel about 24,000 appointments of teaching and non-teaching staff made by the West Bengal School Service in 2016 in the West Bengal teacher recruitment scam.

Uddhav vs Shinde Shiv Sena dispute

The Supreme Court will hear the Uddhav vs Shinde Shiv Sena dispute case today. In the last hearing, the Supreme Court had issued notice to Eknath Shinde and 39 other MLAs on the petition of Uddhav faction leader Sunil Prabhu. Against the decision of the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker, the Uddhav Thackeray faction says that the Speaker's decision to declare the Shinde faction as the real Shiv Sena on the basis of majority in the Assembly is not acceptable.

 

All though the Supreme Court will hear the PILs challenging the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act 2019. There is a provision of three years imprisonment for a Muslim man committing the offence of giving triple talaq.
