UP ByPolls BJP Candidate List: For the by-election on 9 seats of UP, Bharatiya Janata Party has announced candidates on 7 seats. While seats on which the names of the candidates have been announced include Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Karhal, Phulpur, Katehari and Majhawan seats.

BJP has fielded Ramveer Singh Thakur from Kundarki seat, Sanjeev Sharma from Ghaziabad, Surendra Diler from Khair, Anuj Yadav from Karhal, Deepak Patel from Phulpur, Dharmaraj Nishad from Katehari and Suchismita Maurya from Majhawan

Equation on these seats

BJP has bet on Karmaveer Singh Thakur on Kundarki seat. Talking about Kundarki assembly seat, it is considered a Muslim dominated seat. There are 62 percent Muslim voters on the seat. Though if we about Hindu votes, Thakur voters are fine. In such a situation, BJP has fielded a Thakur candidate.

Sanjeev Sharma from Ghaziabad

However, for BJP, the question here was whether to give the seat to a Brahmin or to make someone from the Vaishya community the candidate. Ghaziabad is a stronghold of BJP. Atul Garg is the MP. In such a situation, BJP has placed its bet on Sanjeev Sharma.

Surendra Diler from Khair seat

BJP has placed its bet on Surendra Diler from Khair. This is considered a safe seat for BJP.

BJP bet on Anujesh Yadav from Karhal

Anuj Yadav candidate from Karhal. The contest is considered difficult for BJP on this seat of Akhilesh Yadav. In such a situation, BJP has placed its bet on Anujesh Yadav. BJP's strategy is to make a dent in Yadav votes.

Deepak Patel in the fray from Phulpur

Deepak Patel is the son of former MP Kesari Dev Patel. He has been a BSP MLA. This is considered a Patel dominated seat. SP has given ticket to a Muslim. BJP has tried to consolidate Patel votes. Part of Phulpur falls in the urban area.

Dharamraj Nishad from Katehari

Here BJP is trying to balance the caste equations on Katehari seat. Whether the ticket should be given to a Brahmin or a candidate from backward caste should be made. Also, the effort was to ensure that the issue does not become forward and backward.

Majhawan Suchismita Maurya

While it was a matter of forward versus backward. Mirzapur MP Anupriya Patel was also contacted. Consensus was reached on the name of Suchismita. She has been an MLA earlier also on BJP ticket.

Statements on BJP's ticket announcement

Meanwhile on the announcement of BJP candidate from Majhawan, BJP spokesperson Manish Shukla said that NDA is united. We do not have any dispute that should go to the public forum.

In Haryana, Congress showed its place to SP. Akhilesh Yadav is pressurizing Congress in Maharashtra. Politics of pressure is happening in India Alliance. BJP has announced seven candidates. There are two other seats on which the names will be clear in some time.
