Meanwhile the Chairman said that according to Article 121 of the Constitution, t any High Court or Supreme Court judge in discharge of his duties cannot be discussed in Parliament. He also cited Rule 238 and told Renuka Chaudhary that the notice cannot be discussed. He called the notice a violation of rules.

However, the opposition MPs did not calm down on the Chairman's reply. Dhankhar explained to the opposition MPs, 'Do not put pressure on me. The rules you have made should be followed. The Chairman got angry at Sanjay Singh over this uproar. He kept asking the AAP MP to sit on the seat.
