Maharashtra: The Mahayuti government amid assembly elections, has taken a big decision. The Maharashtra government has given the status of Rajya Mata to the cow. Meanwhile the  state government has taken this decision in the cabinet meeting held today.. This is being considered a big decision of the Shinde government before the elections.

"Rajya Mata Gomata"

All though the government, keeping in mind the status of the native cow in Indian culture since the Vedic period, the usefulness of the milk of the cow in human diet, the important place of the dung and cow urine of the cow in Ayurveda medicine, Panchgavya treatment system and organic agricultural systems, it has been approved to declare these native cows as "Rajya Mata Gomata".

CM Shinde's government took a big decision

In Sanatan Dharma, the cow is considered as a mother. Also, the cow is worshipped in this religion. According to Hindu beliefs, the gods and goddesses reside in the cow. At the same time, for some time now, there was a continuous demand from many Hindu organizations to give the status of Rajya Mata to the cow. Now the government has accepted their point and has announced to give the status of Rajmata to the cow in the state.

Rajmata-Gaumata to the indigenous cow in Maharashtra

Maharashtra government has formally given the status of 'Rajmata-Gaumata' to the indigenous cow in view of its importance in Indian culture, agriculture and health care. Announcing this, the government said that the indigenous cow has an important place in Indian culture since the Vedic period. Its importance is not only religious, but many benefits have also been seen in medicine and agriculture.
