More than 60 trains going to and coming from Delhi have been affected due to dense fog. 51 trains are running late. 10 trains are 6 to 7 hours late. The time of 10 trains has been changed.
What did the Meteorological Department say?
According to the India Meteorological Department, the temperature in Delhi was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius at 5.30 am on Sunday. Yesterday, the temperature in the city was 10.2 degrees Celsius at this time. Several trains are running late at the New Delhi Railway Station due to fog. Meanwhile, the air quality in the national capital remains in the 'very poor' category.
While according to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI in Delhi was recorded at 377 in the morning. Yesterday, it was 385 at this time. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', between 51 and 100 'satisfactory', between 101 and 200 'moderate', between 201 and 300 'poor. Many homeless people were seen staying in night shelters as the harsh winter continued.
