Delhi AQI has crossed 400-mark, people are suffering from poisonous air
Situation is getting worse due to increasing pollution with the changing weather in Delhi-NCR. Delhi's air is continuously becoming poisonous. AQI has crossed 400 in many areas including Anand Vihar. On the other hand, the political temperature is also high on the issue of pollution; political parties are engaged in attacking each other.
While the condition of air pollution in the capital Delhi remains worrisome. Due to pollution, citizens are facing difficulty in going for morning walks. This is a particularly worrisome situation for children and the elderly.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board CPCB, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) till 6:15 am on Monday is 373, which falls in the severe category.

Along with pollution, cold has also knocked in Delhi, due to which cold has also started wreaking havoc along with the havoc of pollution. The minimum temperature on Monday morning was recorded at 19°C.
At the beginning of the week, AQI has been recorded above 400 in Delhi since morning. Delhiites are forced to breathe in stifling poisonous air. Due to pollution in winter, the level of visibility is also continuously decreasing.

AQI in Delhi NCR city Faridabad is 278, Gurugram is 276, Ghaziabad is 294, Greater Noida is 240 and Noida is 304. The AQI level has reached above 400 in 10 areas of the capital Delhi.

Delhi people are suffering breathing problem
Due to all this, people are having difficulty breathing and are having a sore throat. The AQI level is above 300 and between 400 in 25 areas of Delhi. 385 in Alipur, 369 in Aya Nagar, 362 in Mathura Road, 381 in Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, 395 in Dwarka Sector 8, 371 in IGI Airport, 302 in Dilshad Garden. Because of this a thick layer of smog has covered the city.
