Delhi heat breaks 73-year record, temperature crosses 35 degrees
Delhi Warmest October: Month of October has been recorded as the hottest in Delhi after 73 years. The IMD said on Friday that October 2024 has been the hottest in terms of both maximum and minimum temperatures in Safdarjung area of Delhi. This has been seen for the first time since 1951.

Global warming is the reason
When the minimum temperature was examined, it was found that the highest average was recorded at 22-3 degrees Celsius in both 1915 and 1951. Whereas in 1941 it was seen close to 22-1 degrees Celsius.
Excessive rise in temperature in the month of October this year has also raised concerns for climate scientists. They are considering global warming and many environmental changes as the reason for this. Which are pointing out that this record not only affects the everyday life of people.
Humidity level in the air 94 to 48 percent
The sun shone brightly throughout the day. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of Delhi (Delhi Weather in hindi) was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 21.0 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal.
The temperature has never been so high at the end of this month in the last decade. At the same time, the humidity level in the air was recorded at 94 to 48 percent.
Average maximum temperature in Safdarjung in this October month is 35.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum is 21.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in 1907 was 35.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature in 1930 was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, 35.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in 1938, 35.8 degrees Celsius in 1941. At the same time, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in 1951.

At the same time, firecrackers were burnt fiercely on the night of Diwali in Delhi. After which an increase in pollution has been seen.
