Delhi-NCR schools again received bomb threats; panic ensued

The series of bomb threats to Delhi schools is not stopping. Due to this, parents and school administration are worried. Now once again private schools in Delhi and Noida have received a threatening mail.  A private school in Dwarka area and Noida Sector 126 Lotus Valley School also received a threat via email. After this information came to light, schools have been put on online mode and investigation is on.

Since the beginning of this year, various schools, hospitals and other institutions in Delhi have faced bomb threats. This series continues till now, and the latest case came to light on Friday, December 20. There was a stir in the school administration after receiving a bomb threat in the morning.

Promptness of school administration: The administration of the private school in Delhi informed the fire department about the situation at around 5:15 am. However, despite a detailed investigation, no suspicious material was found. In the last few months, similar threats have forced the school to move to online education. Increasing threats: This incident is the fourth time this month that a school has received a threat.

South Delhi and Nort hwest Delhi had received similar threats

On December 17 too, two other schools in South Delhi and North West Delhi had received similar threats. Given this situation, an atmosphere of insecurity is increasing among parents and students. There is also a possibility of a network of these threats being connected to foreign sources.

On some previous occasions, threatening messages were sent simultaneously to more than 40 schools, which indicate that this matter may be an organized plan.

Role of police and investigating agencies: Delhi Police and investigating agencies are investigating the matter thoroughly. This network of threats operates through emails which are sent from abroad. Police are continuously trying to identify the accused and take action against them, but no concrete results have been seen yet.

Bomb threat to another school in Noida: The series of threatening emails continues in Noida schools. Noida Sector 126 Lotus Valley School also received a threat through email. After which the school administration sent the children back as a precaution.

After the information, the bomb squad along with the dog squad and fire brigade team reached the spot. The investigation is being done by the surveillance and cyber cell of the police department. The police has appealed to the people to remain patient.
