Drizzle increased chill in DELHI-NCR, IMD issued Alert
Mood of the weather has completely changed in the capital Delhi. There has been drizzle in many areas of Delhi-NCR in the morning. Due to which the weather changed and the cold increased. The maximum temperature may drop by three to four degrees Celsius due to rain.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Sunday was 24.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.3 degrees Celsius. Which is normal. Due to moderate fog near Safdarjung, the minimum visibility was 400 meters between seven and seven thirty in the morning.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Monday is likely to be 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be seven degrees Celsius. Light to moderate rain is likely in Safidon, Jind, Panipat, Gohana, Ganaur, Hansi, Meham, Sonipat, Tosham, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Jhajjar, Loharu.
There is a possibility of light rain/drizzle in Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Narwana, Karnal, Fatehabad, Rajound, Assandh, Barwala, Adampur, Hisar, Siwani, Sohna, Rewari (Haryana) Gangoh, Hastinapur (UP) Sidhmukh, Sadulpur, Bhiwadi.
Forecast of rain throughout the week
There is a possibility of intermittent rain from 23 December to 28 December i.e. this whole week. There is a fog alert on 24 and 25 December. The Meteorological Department has shown a yellow alert. While there may be light rain in Delhi from 26 December to 28 December. After which the temperature can fall even more. However, during this time the minimum temperature can remain between 6 to 8 degrees.
Condition of pollution in Delhi
On the other hand, if we talk about pollution, the AQI in Delhi's air is still above 400. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the average air quality index in the capital Delhi remained at 403 points till 7:30 am on Monday. While in Delhi NCR cities Faridabad remained at 213, Gurugram at 313, Ghaziabad at 316, Greater Noida at 248 and Noida at 320 points.

AQI level remained between 400 and 500 in 22 areas of the capital Delhi. 437 in Alipur, 439 in Anand Vihar, 456 in Ashok Vihar, 473 in Bawana, 441 in Burari Crossing, 406 in Mathura Road, 425 in Vidhya, 412 in ITO, 448 in Jahangirpuri, 411 in Major Dhyanchand Stadium, 442 in Mundka, 430 in Narela, 444 in Nehru Nagar, 413 in North Campus DU, 425 in Okhla Phase Two, 418 in Punjabi Bagh, 464 in Rohini, 420 in Siri Fort, 455 in Sonia Vihar, 437 in Ashok Vihar, 460 in Wazirpur.
